I did it - Weight Training Again

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Actually did my upper body weight training routine last night! emoticon It's a one day streak - better than no days. Today is legs and core, then I get a day off before going at it again. Thought I would be sore today, but no.

Got out for my horseback riding lesson - an easy trail ride, since my instructor had lost her voice, so she couldn't do much talking. And she certainly couldn't be heard across an arena. It was warm and muggy when we started. Just about at the end of the hour, we started hearing rolling thunder, then a few rain drops started to fall. By the time we got back to the barn, it was starting to rain harder. We sure timed it right, because then the skies opened up. Luckily, I got enough of a break in the rain to get him back out to his pasture and didn't get too wet getting back to my car. Then it started raining again. Now, later in the afternoon, it seems to be clearing off again, so I think I'll chance it and take the dog for his long walk. I haven't gotten to my 15000 step goal for the day. I'd sure rather get it in outside than spending more time on the treadmill.

Hope all of you are having a great SparkPeople day.
