Homemade lotion

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I have been making this homemade lotion for years and love it. Thought I would share.

1 large bottle of Baby lotion (or lotion you prefer. I have used regular baby lotion and cocoa butter)
1 small tub of Vitamin E lotion NOT oil (I get mine at Walmart and it's the fruit of the earth brand)
1 tub of vasoline (I have found cocoa butter vasoline at Walgreens)

Mix together (I use a hand mixer) and put back in the vitamin E container, vasoline container and you will need one other.

Last Christmas I found small containers at Target and gave it away as Christmas presents. It's a big hit. Just be prepared to have people bring the empty container back to you so you can fill it! LOL

Wahoo! Made it last night, and loved it! Took a little bit to work today, and everybody was impressed. Gave a little to a good friend, and she loved it, too. I might not ever, ever, ever (ever) buy lotion again!
