28-Day Bootcamp - Day 14

So, I kinda took a longer break than I intended. Four days off instead of two really had an impact on my workout. Firstly, because I was just flat out drained. Secondly, because my food choices over the past few days have been absolutely horrendous. Now, I'm not saying a bit of chocolate or sweet stuff isn't good once in a while, but every day?? Definitely not a good thing. Not to mention, the overeating... ugh! I totally felt like a bloated sea cow last night due to all the JUNK I had put in my body! I do not quite understand just what led me to actually eat all that garbage...
But in spite of everything, I can't say today's workout was too awful bad. I'm still having a few issues concerning my knees, but the more I focused on my form, the less pain I had to deal with. Though I still couldn't handle a lot of the squats...
My energy levels today are just insanely low! It was hard to focus on working out at all! Not to mention the mild dehydration I have been suffering due to me not paying attention to my water intake. I am just thankful that I know my problem areas and know how to fix them.
I've decided to do a lot more running, as well as ab, core, & glute workouts along with the 28-Day Bootcamp DVD. I just do not feel like I am getting what I need in that particular area. As for cardio, this DVD is AmAzInG! I'm always in a really good sweat after each workout. Now, I'm not saying this workout lacks in strength training or core training, but not everyone's body is the same. In my case, while most areas of my body are receiving an excellent workout, my abs and glutes just require a bit more love and attention. Now. I have 59 days until a wedding... I better hop to it!
