I didn't want to get up today, so Buddy got shortchanged on his walk and now it looks like it's going to rain, so you know where I should be right now.... so be back later..
ok, it's later and Buddy and I got for our walk, and then I met my new friend and we went to the book club. It was full up today and they enjoyed having someone new there and we had a nice long chat there and back, and we have so many things in common. She was even friends with some people I went to elementary school with.
So, diabetic workshop was excellent today.. It was the dietician.. I learned quite a few new things. Although alcohol isn't an issue for me, it was some very interesting facts. And my fav cereal, Fibre One has 30 carb, even after you deduct the grams of fibre, it is still 50% more than advised for carb count.. But, she suggested adding a couple tsp. of bran buds to it, to raise the fibre count which would lower the carb.. I took lots of notes. Now, gotta get life to settle down and get back on track. I did take my veggie bag with me to drive 45 min. to the book club and my friend got to taste Daikon radish for the first time and really enjoyed it.
Well, I finished knitting the little girl's sweater dress I started the other day... Found out the wool I bought at Value Village is called "Glacier" and that means it's a super chunky, so my patterns don't work for it, so an internet search is required... don't relish those, much prefer to be working with the wool.
Well, tomorrow is last day of workshop, so another early morning...
