Oh, what a schedule lover I am.

Last week I had to travel 3 hrs away to get my daughter form college. That took a day and a half. Now, I have this person in my house that takes up attention, food, and space. I know whine, whine! But it is the change in routine that is messing me up. I had a little routine that worked for me. Now it is upset. Next week I go on vacation. That will change things up even more. I am not sure I am up for the challenge.
I plan to take an old weight watchers note book with me as I am not sure of internet access. I will pack veggie and fruit snacks, and take my 2 water glasses. I envision walking at gas stops, and letting my family dine in while I walk the parking lot. But I know me. That is highly unlikely. So here's to best choices in every situation. That is all I can do.

    We are taking a road trip in June. What do you do about the food! It could be a diet disaster especially sitting in the car for most of the day...and lots of days. Packed celery and carrots, a couple apples, maybe a sandwich on the first day only go so far until hunger sets in and I want a real meal. Here's to the best of the choices available!

    I will be gone for 7-8 days, am taking 2 weeks off work. Some days to get ready, and some to recoup.

    Oh boy, can I relate! Routines seem to be my friend as well. But as Johglo said, do your best and enjoy your vacation. How long will you be gone?

    I would say plan ahead as much as possible, do your best and enjoy your vacation! Maybe just aim to not gain any back as a goal. Be kind to yourself!
