I went out with my fabulous friend, Morgan, last night and we discussed our healthy lifestyles. Oh! and we walked around Arlington for 2.5 miles - BOOM! Anyway, I don't have the best track record with losing weight - special occasions, my wedding I have managed to lose some but overall my weight just seems to go up. I want to start a family but before we do, I need to get healthy. It is my number 1 priority and I will make it happen.
Morgan and I chatted about our eating plan. I have IBS/stomach issues so I am planning on cutting down on the dairy products and really going full force with freggies. Lots and lots of them! I also want to cut down on the caffeine and focus more on water. Seems pretty easy, right? The funny thing is that I know what I need to do. I have done it before. I just need to stick with it. A bad meal doesn't mean a bad day. I have done pretty well on the exercise front so I will keep up with daily workouts and will get to Zumba at least once a week. My back is not always happy when I go so I need to monitor that.
After talking with Morgan, I think I am mentally ready. I have always wanted to drop the pounds but my head wasn't always ready. I feel like it is go time! Pounds be gone!!!
So here are my goals:
-lots of freggies
-use SP/MFP for tracking and motivation
-cut down on dairy and caffeine
