2 pieces of background info for this blog:
a) when i was 20, i met one of my current best friends, who got cancer in her 20s. this changed me almost overnight from being completely care-free about my health to completely OBSESSED w the possibility of something being seriously wrong with me (i became a hypochondriac overnight haha).
b) i used to use tanning beds a ridiculous amount in high school
these two factors combined, as you might imagine, made me extremely nervous about developing skin cancer. i have a couple of moles on my body that i convinced myself are cancerous, but i was always too scared to have this confirmed by a doctor.
however! now that i am focusing so much on my health, i decided it was ridiculous to leave this one thing to stress me out, and it was time to go to the dermatologist once and for all.
so i did! this morning, i got checked out, and i am fine! so the point of this blog is -- if you have any element of your life that feels unhealthy, or feels like is holding you back from becoming a completely healthy person - HANDLE IT! you will feel so much better!!!
