Another Tattoo Blog...

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I thought another blog about it was appropriate because I got a lot of questions behind the meaning behind the tattoo itself. I've always liked stars and I even sign my name with them so this tattoo represents me. There are 12 stars simply because that's how many it took to get from the ankle around to the foot so that it would look complete.

Thank you to everyone who said it looked nice and paid other compliments. To those wondering if it hurt: YES! Very much so but I didn't cry or scream so the tattoo artist said I took it better than most people getting a foot tattoo. I was kind of proud of myself!

PS Tina your tattoo is amazing! I couldn't have sat through all that coloring. Did you get it all in 1 setting?

Oh Dear. That just looked so painful. I couldn't get a tattoo. Needles don't bother me for shots & blood draws. I'm a recovered cutter so you'd think I'd be a prime candidate for tattoos, but there has never been anything I thought was pretty enough to put it on my body permanently!

I absolutely love tattoos. I have several of them! Each has a meaning and a memory attached to them. "ink" is not for everyone, but it is a way of expressing yourself! Congrats on your tattoo! emoticon

Thanks for answering the questions! I haven't gotten a tattoo daughter is working in tattoo number two, the artist said she had to come back to finish because her skin was too thin to take anymore. I think, if I could find a design I just loved, I would do it...I think they can really enhance a person` s personality, as yours does!

Your tattoo is beautiful! And yes, I did make it in one sitting with a couple short breaks since my leg kept cramping up. It did hurt, but was bearable. My next tattoo is going to be a cross, now I just have to find one I like and figure out where to put it. :)

I have 4 tattoo's. I carefully thought about each one. I didn't even get my first one until I was 37 years old. Tattoo's are a real personal matter. It's something you'll carry with you for the rest of your life and they only have meaning to you.

I love my tattoo's and I still have the "ink bug". I want another one.
