Saturday morning the trailer arrived with 4 horses already on it. Leo was the last to get picked up. Off we went to Rally. Once I unloaded the van of the Rally supplies and handed the lead rope over to FDD, I was hands off until Monday.
DD & FDD had to set up their tack room and take care of Leo. No parents allowed!
The girls did amazing. Leo was a real star for FDD. She had lost her jumping confidence and Leo gave it right back. DD found Leo strong so she was allowed to switch groups. Part of her problem is that she tried to pull him back with the strength in her arms rather than using her core. And she would forget to turn him. Leo was never dirty. He just got excited cantering in a group and a large space. But it all worked out in the end.
Both girls found their comfort zones and pushed personal boundaries. I was really pleased with their achievements and proud of my little horse.
