Walked and a bit of TMI

Not feeling good today....long night, numerous trips to the loo...but I walked the dog this morning AND ran twice! Not far, but still I RAN! Very excited about that...

Got home from the mile and back in the loo...sucky...I still have a bootcamp video to do today and go to work...mind over matter, whatever is wrong with my tummy will work itself out!

It is a cold, windy morning here, so my ears and cheeks are cold! Brisk! Not pleasantly brisk but more of the "turn your collar up, huddle deep in your coat, and step up the pace" kind of brisk! Only one other person out and she was wrapped up in layers! Oh well, the sun is out and that will help!

My streaks are adding up for exercising and blogging....I really need to work on my eating, that's why I was I'll last night...when I start exercising, my body wants more food. Who am I kidding? That's why I returned to exercising and SparkPeople, some days I eat so much I make myself sick while I am asleep. So I wake up with my stomach trying to empty it's contents. That's how I knew this was definitely the time to change my life. That type of response to eating is not healthy. But in the meantime, when I start exercising my body freaks out and wants more food...I have to figure out healthy ways to feed it....or other things to do whe. It thinks it needs feeding...we will see how today goes...

I struggle with the same thing.. my body wants more food!

I try to combat that by brining fruits and veggies to work to snack on. It can be annoying prepping and packaging them all when you come home from the store, but it is SO worth it.

My favorites are sliced cucumbers and carrots, apples, pears, strawberries and fresh pineapple. I also bring a small container of low calorie yogurt ranch for my veggies. Only a little container! Otherwise it's easy to over-do it. :)

I also really love snacking on triscuits with those laughing cow cream cheese wedges. I find the triscuits really fill me up, and it's a delicious snack.

My riskiest time for over-eating is right when I finish a meal at home. I know I'm done, my plate is empty, but I want more. I want that overly-full feeling in my stomach that feels slightly uncomfortable, but just feels.. full. Sometimes I fail and end up eating more and then feel miserable and guilty. But I find if I can keep myself busy, or just make it through those first 15-20 minutes after I finish a meal, then I'm ok. My body realizes it's finished eating and I can get on with my day.
