I have been taking a 90 minute yoga class once a week for the last 10 weeks. This is not my first experience with yoga, but it has by far been the best!
Previously, at the gym, the hour-long classes just felt rushed. This is a completely different environment and, thus, a completely different experience. It's amazing to me that even in 10 sessions, my mind has learned to wander less, and my flexibility has improved. I still find some of the kneeling poses tough since my knee surgery, but I think the regular practice is helping.
Sadly, there are only two more sessions of yoga offered through this program. Now I'm wondering how to continue the practice on my own. I can't imagine being as disciplined without an instructor to prompt. I'm hoping for advice, Sparkers! Anyone out there regularly practice outside of a structured class? I'm going on a SP/YouTube/Amazon/etc search for resources! Any favorites???
