(John 3:30 NKJV) "He must increase, but I must decrease.

This single verse is the key to a thriving relationship with our Creator.

We can't have a strong relationship with God until we learn to put Him first! It isn't necessarily an easy thing to do, especially at first, but it's something that we have to learn how to do and then walk it out.

Once we get understanding of this concept and begin putting it into practice, it will begin to come more naturally to us and before we know it, we will put God before everything else in our life.

We will wake in the morning and the first thing we will do is wonder what God will do in our lives today. We will spend our waking hours with God at the forefront of our minds, instead of somewhere there in the background.

Instead of always wondering what God is going to do for us, we will start to ask Him what we can do for Him! And as we grow in Him, we will learn to listen for the answers from Him.

Our lives will truly begin to be transformed as we start to put Him first and ourselves after Him.

Many of our struggles with sin will disappear when we put Him first. Many of our struggles with a bad attitude will disappear when we put Him first. Our struggles with unforgiveness and bitterness will disappear when we put him first. And the list goes on!

So start learning to let Him increase so you can decrease and watch how He transforms your life for the better.

emoticon Blog! Yes, GOD should always come first and foremost in our lives. You are so right, it might not be easy to do at first but when you do, you will never want to put GOD in the background ever again.

It is hard to let go of that control so HE can get us moving in the right direction especially when we have our minds set on something other than what HE really wants of us.
