Today was about pacing myself. I was quite tired from pushing hard for the previous 2 days starting from a sedentary lifestyle. So today, I took a slower pace and accomplished some personal things that needed doing including helping a friend. I will still be doing at least 10 minutes of exercise (maybe more depending on how I feel) as Spark Guy recommends. Tomorrow I will be back at it again. I am also still enjoying The Spark and I plan to read the Spark Solution as well. I am in this for the long haul and I am learning each day just how to do that. A healthy lifestyle doesn't just happen. We are changing some really bad habits and starting new habits -- not just one habit, but several. That's a lot really, but already I feel good about that. I am enjoying this journey and could not do that without all of you. My thanks to Callie for sharing her wisdom about "dieting" -- her words really made good sense and gave me a good perspective. Every time each of you shares a victory or even a setback -- I feel that as well because it is a privilege to share this journey with you. Take great care and here is to looking forward to a healthier tomorrow. How's that for a toast?
