Nutrition Tracking - THRILLED!!!!

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

5% Challenge 2 - Nutrition Tracking. I see a few comments about not tracking, hate it, time consuming, etc. Yes I felt the same for years, but not now. I am so happy, no THRILLED with the results. Two days after my Saturday weigh in I was down another 2.4 pounds! Yahoo!!!

You bet I am tracking my food! I am not concerned with the calorie range, just tracking but some how the calories count falls into place.

I am getting back into a routine going to the gym. Happy, happy about that too!!!

My Streaks

Nutrition Tracking Day 65
Walking Day 31
No alcohol 64/65

My no alcohol streak would be perfect but I had a free light beer on a hot day, at a place we stopped at on our way to Las Vegas. I had a few swallows then looked at it and thought, what am I doing? Any way my streak goes on. It really does help keep my appetite in check not having a glass of wine before dinner.

I have 46 days to lose 7.8 pounds and hit 199. I will do it!

Good Job! I agree that tracking really does help keep us in line. When I first started tracking several weeks ago, it was a real eye opener to see how much I actually was eating.

I know that it is the tracking that has made it possible or me to be so close to my goal weight. I track everyday and I love it. I always want to know where I'm at. emoticon on your successes.

YAY! Congratulations on the weight loss and finding your peace with tracking. I honestly believe it half of what works for me (the other half being that I track my fitness). Keep on going and you will hit your goal!

You can easily hit Onederland in 46 days! It's a reasonable and achievable goal. You have been doing so well, just keep on doing what you're doing!

The bottom line is .. I don't lose weight unless I track. Yes, it is boring sometimes and time consuming, but that is not nearly as important as losing weight and getting healthy. And yes, you are right ... calories do tend to take care of themselves when you track.
2.4 lbs is an amazing loss. emoticon

I'm one of the not liking the tracking ones lol but I still do it (unless I know it's a whole day of junk). Good for you keeping it up and loving it!

I like the tracking also. I sometimes go over my calories, but I try to log in everything.
Keep up the good work!

Tracking is the number one thing that I advise new members to do. Even if you are over calories, tracking helps.

Congrats on your success. So proud of you!
