Hello my fellow Sparklers! I realized just today that my eating habits are just terrible & so I decided to blog about that and to get a response about how soon is too soon to exercise after gallbladder surgery. I went to my Doctor's appointment yesterday, saw his nurse, "Monica", but forgot to ask! She did tell me about not lifting anything heavy, like weights, luggage, grocery bags etc. Due to the after effects of eating greasy foods, which are bad for me anyways, I've cut out all things fried. I've also reduced my salt intake beginning today, although to hold myself accountable, I did eat baked barbecue chicken. Condiments are what I have decided to cut back on also, like ketchup & barbecue sauce, which are both full of sodium. Now I need to incorporate more veggies into my diet, I eat lots fruits already !
My biggest problem is sugary foods & drinks, I'm working on it Sparklers, don't give up on me just yet! I can do something like rewarding myself a sweet treat maybe once a week but not all day every day. I'm used to cleaning my plate...and eating a sugary dessert afterwards, not good I know!
So, from here on out, I'm going to hold myself accountable by blogging on SP!
Exercise was never my problem but as you can read, I need help eating a lot healthier, advice on how to do so is always welcome, Spark Me people.
