Today is my first day on Spark People. I have been in a rut for about a month and a half now and am desperately needing to get out! I am starting to fall back into old habits and it is scaring me so I have decided to try this out. I have high hopes that this will work.

Today I plan to eat a healthy lunch consisting of:

Large Spinach Salad w/ Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Chick Peas, Carrots, and very small serving of Ranch Dressing

I also intend to eat another vegetable with this lunch, and some form of protein

For a snack later today I will have 2 small apples or 1 apple and an orange

For Dinner I will have another salad and two black bean tacos with tomatoes and small serving of salsa on the side (for flavor)

@ 2:15 pm I will be heading to my school's fitness center where I plan to be on the elliptical for at least 45 minutes along with some arm and chest work and some ab work

I will post back tonight to see if I stuck to the plan

    Instead of stressing out in the rare occasion when I return back to my old ways, I appreciate them. Because who I used to be was VERY unappreciative. And I know I'm way to happy now to be anything but appreciative. Maybe you can try looking at it like that? Recognize your faults and make sure you believe with 110% certainty that you are better than your faults! It's like an automatic push back in not only the right direction, but in an even better direction than what you thought you knew!
