what made me join sparkpeople? for a long time I was looking to join weight watchers (just did not have an extra $10 a week) so one day I went into my yahoo mail account and there was a blurb about the best online weight loss program, and I read it and it was sparkpeople I went on the site and joined but I was not active until about 2 weeks later, and after that I was hooked, I felt great started loosing weight from the beginning,lost 3 lbs my first week, and I have almost constantly lost at least a pound a week, with the exception of the time I hit a plateau an I emailed my coach and he helped me through it and I lost 2 lbs the next week. I try to challenge my self daily by either drinking alittle bit more water and or by working out by 5 minutes more a day. I am up to at least 1 hour a day, my next feat is to start running I have already did the walk-run at the track and ran 3/4 of a mile and walked 2 miles. I feel that sparkpeople saved my life.
I make recipes from Sparkpeople alot My favorite is the Kale with chirzo and beans, I love anything with Kale.
I can't say that I have an favorite motivational tip but I must say that drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day does help with hunger pains and craving.
My goal for this week is just to continue on my path of eating healthy and working out regular and keep tracking and keep getting that extra push I get from going on the sparkpeople site. This is my rock, My path to a better me (a weight loss of 37 1/2 lbs since the middle of September with 12 more to go to hit my goal, from a size 16-18 to a size 10) I love sparkpeople.
