Persistence . . . and Grace for Oklahoma.

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

I have always thought of myself as pretty persistent when it comes to some things. This problem with my foot has really knocked me for a loop. I know I'm going to get through this, it's just frustrating to have yet another setback.

Since Plan A is a no-go, well . . .

It's time to take the turn:

In the scheme of things, my problems are so small. Hubby & I watched the news last night & were shocked at the devastation in Oklahoma after that horrible tornado. My heart just goes out to them. My foot is no big deal -- it will heal in time.

One of my friends had this on her FaceBook page:

I am so thankful for God's grace!!

Today, please pray for Oklahoma.

Blessings to you!! emoticon emoticon

Continued Prayers for Oklahoma victims. Thank you for reminding me of the way I need to be thinking. Too much thinking about myself can skew my perspective on my issues. It is definitely a balance. If we do not think about ourselves we let ourselves go which is why I am on SparkPeople. Balance and moderation. AND Lots of prayers!

I have been praying for those in Moore, OK. It was a beautiful city and again, can return to one.
Hoping and praying that your foot is improving! God bless!

If you have access to a pool try water walking or even aqua jogging ... That will keep your cardio up and build endurance also ... keep the same form as on land and try to keep the same pace and you will see your heart rate raise up and have an excellent workout. I have severe foot issues and have had numerous surgery and any thing you can do on land you can do in the water I hope your foot gets better soon for you. As far as Oklahoma goes that is the saddest thing and my prayers go out to them in this horrible time.

Fantastic blog. It's so true - we have to stay flexible and remember that things could always be so much worse, no matter what happens. God bless the people of Moore - how especially tragic that they had a huge tornado just a few years back, too. They must be strong people!
