What's Cookin' Good Lookin' Round 9

Monday, May 20, 2013

For this round I made the Asian Turkey Meatballs with Lime Sesame Dipping Sauce from skinnytaste.com: www.skinnytaste.com/2010
/01/asian-turkey-meatballs
-with-lime-sesame.html

These were very tasty! I ended up with 16 meatballs instead of 12, so each serving had 4 meatballs in it. These were also very quick to put together, under a half hour from start to finish, and I had most of the ingredients already in my pantry. I served with 3/4 cup of brown rice, and some snow peas. Total calories for the meatballs was 294, and total meal calories was 470.

KANOE yeah it was a good dipping sauce too, and I think it would make a good stir fry sauce, or even a marinade for chicken etc.

Those look yummy. I like the dipping sauce as it has no sugar. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! And no, I had pre-ground turkey that I got at Costco, they come in packs of 4 there. This recipe uses 20oz which is the size of the packages at Costco.

Wow! The plating is gorgeous. If it tastes as good as it looks, it's a winner for sure. I'm going to look it up and give it a try myself. Did you grind the turkey?
