My sister's wedding is just a few short weeks away. Of course I want to look my best. I also want to feel my best. I workout like a crazed person, I am aware of this and freely admit it:) I love the rush and enjoy the challenge. I also enjoy reflecting and saying "Hell yeah, I just did that and when can I do it again? I think I can do it better next time!"
So here's the plan this week. A little too much sugar ( in the form of honey) has entered my diet. I find that I am adding a little here, a little there, and it adds up. I generally eat little to no sugar so the honey was a little shock to my system. Time to cut it out. Do I need it to live? That is my mantra for the next few weeks. When I want to stray from all the foods that I know make me feel my best, I will ask myself do I need it to live?
Also I slacked on a few of my workouts last week. I know I did not push myself as hard as I could have. I beat myself up over it and now I am over it. I killed today's workout and am looking forward to killing the rest til I head to PA. I overheard someone at the gym comment on the "psychoness" of another person's workout, and her response was "I have a goal." That rang loud and clear to me! Yes, I too have a goal: to look and feel my best at my sister's wedding. She is going to need me to do a lot for her and I can't let her down on her big day:) Plus I will have to have energy to deal with my mom, who no doubt will try everything to suck my energy level to zero.
*Cardio first thing every AM.
*SWEAT 6 days a week.
*Cardio every PM.
*Bonus SWEAT 3 /week..mini sessions more for practice and how many of each exercise I can do in a certain time period.
*Mindful eating. Do I need this to live? PB2 and fruit are the only sugars I will be eating. This works the best for me and the PB2 does not have an impact on my blood sugar like honey does.
Duration 3 and 1/2 weeks.
The goal: Look and feel my best.
I will take any other Spark friends looking for an accountability partner:) Anyone else doing a mindful eating challenge or no (or low) sugar challenge?
