So my weekend was crazy and I did not get to post anything. I took my son's cubscout pack camping. I rained off and on from Friday through Sunday so we had some wet children and parents. We did manage to go on a 3 mile hike and we also did geo caching so the kids had a blast. Lots of fun things to do around camp. I ate healthy because it was all camp food. Foil pack dinner, eggs in a bag, etc.

I did however suffer a few aches and pains from my camping. My lower back is not happy today and an old injury in my foot flared up. So I am hoping to be back to my old self in a few days but I am moving slow. So far today I have had cheese toast for breakfast and a clif builder snack bar today. Not many fruits for veggies so far, but I am hoping to make up for it tonight.

I am struggeling with my water consumption so I have to REALLY make an effort to do better. This is not a new thing it runs in the family. My Grandmother can make her glass of water last from her lunch throughout the entire day. So I am trying to form better habits with drinking.

    Sounds like a blast! I used to hate water until I started carrying around a water bottle with me. Now my husband calls it my baby bottle since I don't go anywhere without it! What really helps is if you get a good water bottle you can just throw in your bag. Ours are contigo from costco which are fantastic and rarely leak!

    What did I take away from your post today? Cheese on toast! Yumm! Guess it's time for me to get some breakfast. LOL.

    You should try buying a big water bottle the holds 64 oz . I got one from walmart and it really helps!

    Drinking enough water has been hard for me too. When I started I never drank plain water! Now I average 6-8 glasses a day. My grandkids were at Cub Scout Camp this past weekend also and it rained really hard yesterday! Grandma is glad she had a nice dry place to sleep. After keeping up with the kids this weekend you deserve to take it easy!

    Your camping trip sounds like fun : ) I used to struggle with water. Now I try to get 4 in early. Some days are easier.

    Glad to hear your scouting trip went well. I hope you're feeling better soon.

I find spicy food makes me drink more water. When I'm particularly hungry before meals or between meals I have on Brach's Sugar Free Cinnamon hard candy; which helps my sweet tooth and makes me drink a bunch of water. Also, water tastes better right after you brush your teeth.
