Try not: it's time to do.

After who knows how long of trying to lose weight, it's not working. If it's insanity to keep doing the same things over and over expecting different results, I'm ready to bring some sanity to my life. I'm done trying. Now, today it's time to actually do.

This is what works in other areas of my life. I don't tell my boss "I'll try to come in to work every day". I simply get out of bed every morning and go. It takes discipline and sometimes means I do things I don't feel like doing, but it's something I've committed to do, so I do it.

Now, today, I'm making the same commitment to my health. My 15 minute jog this morning may not be much, but it's a start. If it takes 21 days to make a habit, only 20 more to go.
