Well, I guess I am getting to almost start over on weight loss. I got on the scales on Friday and I have gained back 30 pounds. Mid-life really stinks!! I was going to keep my mouth shut and not admit it, even to myself, but that would be dishonest and counter-productive. SO, time for round 2 of weight loss.

Ruth, after I reached my goal, 2 years later, I struggled with 5 lbs over my goal. I don't know why I just couldn't get with it and get it off. I hate to admit it, but I kept going to the WW meetings for almost a year, paying each time. I didn't gain anymore but just couldn't get my head screwed on to take off that weight.... I would be within 1-2 pounds for the longest time. Finally I got the stationary bike and started counting my WW point+ for every bite I put in my mouth and got under goal..... I have now been at goal again for 2 years. I know that if I had quit going to the meetings I would have gained back the whole 40 I lost...... it was expensive, but at least I learned that you can't guess at the points and I need to weigh and measure. I know that I am committed to this for my life and know how much I need the support of my WW and SP friends....... God Bless you on your journey back.... emoticon

I've been there too. You've already done the best possible thing to get yourself back on track - admitting it! You will get back on track and those 30 lbs will come off again and stay off. That's what I'm telling myself this time. emoticon
