ONWARD AND UPWARD ~ Little Steps at a Time

Sunday, May 19, 2013

Learning to pace myself and avoiding the temptation to over-do on a project is a challenging journey for me. It is one I find myself not fully successful at as yet. I have not given up and I will continue to pursue a healthy balance. In fact, I have placed a timer in the one room I tend to have my little mishaps in. I am learning that the only time I truly fail is the one in which I would choose to quit trying. Since I continue to pick myself up and move forward, I am still in the running, (so to speak).

I do have my exercise room organized now; my timer is on the desk as a great reminder that the best progress is for Glo to move slow through one step at a time and the momentum of forward movement will continue with less down-time.

On the road to moving Onward and Upward.

Its awesome that you are not letting this challenge defeat you. Learning to pace yourself is a very important step! Its also vital you do this so you don't get burnt out and quit altogether, but it sounds like you have a handle on it and the right attitude to proceed with emoticon
