Quiet but good day!

Spark Solution Challenge: Day 7

Insider tip: Out of sight, out of mind

Fill your plate in the kitchen. and put leftovers away immediately. You won't be tempted to go back for seconds.

Mind-set Makeover: Take some time to think about your goals.

Make a goal collage. Include pictures of clothes you want to wear, things you want to do, people who inspire you to stick with you goals. Add inspirational quotes, personal mantras, and a date you'd like to reach your ultimate goal. Hang it someplace you'll see it daily.

Metabolic Makeover: Keep track of your condiments.

Pull out your measuring spoons for these calorie-dense foods, and start to recognize what the serving sizes look like on your plate.

Spark Coach challenge: If You Bite It, Write It

Track every sip, bite, taste, morsel and meal that you consume--honestly and accurately today. And of course, aim to stay within your daily calorie range.

emoticon emoticon emoticon I make room for condiments (writing up to the nearest 50 calories.)Condiments are major players in making a tasty menu around my house. It makes the difference between Asian infused to all out Italian or Bright American cuisine and so on, besides I love condiments because its the easiest way to diversify food choices with least amount of planning. And planning is a big part of why doing the foot work is a success. emoticon I guess I stumbled upon a soapbox and got preachy there for a second- Have a great day!

ps. I say this because in all my preparations to stay home for three weeks .... I got everything but the toilet paper!

Interesting you say track everything. I went to Costco today and Whole Foods and had samples at both places. I did put it in my tracker. I'm just glad I did not put a package of whatever I was tasting in my basket. When your hungry everything tastes good but the samples at both places are not foods I want in my house. Costco was pushing processed foods and Whole Foods was giving away samples from the bakery department.

Congratulations on your weight loss to date!

Thanks for sharing the highlights of the book. That's sweet. Even sweeter still is the pedicure you gave your Mom, I'm sure she really appreciated it. Great on the workout with a painful knee and I'm glad you got some much needed rest. I like your VLOGs. emoticon emoticon
