I just popped in the Zumba Cardio Party DVD. Halfway through the warm up I started to feel it. It has only been 7 minutes and I am sweating. My ankles hurt (I am pigeon toed, so anything physical hurts almost immediately, especially since I'm overweight). After I finish my entire workout I will edit it into this blog post, just to keep a record of what I started with. I know this is something I will feel tomorrow. I don't even feel like this on the elliptical. Maybe I set my resistance too low, which would be odd, considering how out of shape I am.
Well, let me get back to the other 39 or so minutes of this dvd. Also going to add some weights and another short workout I found on pinterest. I love the feeling after a workout. I must remember that feeling when I don't want to workout on some days.
I'll add more to this later! Don't want to wait too long before I continue. :)
Edit: Okay so, I finished the whole Zumba Dvd, did 5 minutes of bicep curls, and 10 minutes on the elliptical at a resistance of 4. I also did this thing called the "Drop 10 Workout" that I found on Pinterest. It consists of:
90 jumping jacks
60 seconds running in place
50 second plank
40 more jumping jacks
30 more squats
20 high knees
10 push ups
You're supposed to do it every day for 2 weeks. I'm going to do it 5 days a week, because some days I will not be doing the zumba dvd (doing that 3x a week), so I feel as that will be sufficient for my in-between days. I may have to reduce the amount of crunches though, yikes..
I am finally finished working out and am about to go take a shower and then try to go get the rest of my water in. If I keep this up, which I am fairly certain I will, this will be a good week for me.
