today my Daughter Graduated from a catholic high school, the Graduation was in the Cathedral and the air broke at mass last night and yes with todays heat and all the people it was HOT, HOT, HOT! I am sad because she is my last child and she is off to SEMO this fall. I'm happy for her but sad for me.

SEMO is a great college. My son was offered a governors scholarship to go there but chose to go to McKendree instead. The freshman dorms have no air conditioning at SEMO so it might be a good time to get used to no air. LOL. Try not to be sad - it seems that many kids end up coming and going throughout life - the economy being what it is. My son left for 4 years and came back home. He may be moving out again soon.

Awww, honey I understand! My DD graduates fro HS on 9 June and she's my last too. Off to start their lives! SOB SOB SOB! I feel like I just did that myself, so how can SHE be ready. Truth is, they're ready LONG before we ever are or will be!

Congratulations to you and your Dd. Wonderful accomplishment and wishing her luck in the next stage of her life.

emoticon to you daughter. You must be very proud, albeit sad. emoticon

It is hard on Moms when they realize all their babies are grown. We don't like it, but accept it as part of life. You will always be her Mom, you will always love her, and she will always be your baby !!
