Day 5

Had to go clean a house today. I really, really didn't want to, but the whole family came with me. The house was in really good shape when we got there, and only had one load of laundry to do. I love considerate vacationers! We were done with that house in a little over two hours. I had green juice for breakfast and then again for lunch. I had a hard time choking it down at lunchtime for some reason. Then later on, once we got back home, I got really discouraged and felt like quitting. I had this little voice running through my head telling me, "hey, you got to Day 5, that's farther than you've ever gotten. Ten days is a long time, I don't know if you can make it that far." I got on Facebook and messaged my two new friends. I sent them both an SOS message. One was online and we chatted for a while. She was feeling the exact same way, and she's on Day 5 too! We talked ourselves out of our rut and started looking up new juice recipes. I pulled out my juice book and tried a Sugarfree Lemonade: I used one gala apple, one granny smith apple, and one lemon. It was GREAT! Such a nice treat. I'll have one other glass of something for dinner. Speaking of which, it's time I get out there and cook FOOD for my family...more food I can't eat ;)

Oh! I almost forgot. I'm down a total of 10.6 pounds. Other than having a little trouble sleeping last night, I'm feeling absolutely great. I'm on the downhill!
