Last night was my friend from hs's wedding. We got invited pretty late so we kinda guessed on a lot of things. We guessed right, their website said it was a black and white wedding. So everyone at the wedding was to wear black or white and the grooms wore grey (black and white combined) such a cool idea! Especially from a photography standpoint. There would be no weird colors popping out in photos. Turned out I was the only person from hs he invited so we didn't really know anyone. We ended up sitting with a family of 8 at the reception lol Super fun and awkward. Nonetheless super honor they had us come. I don't think I have ever cried at a wedding. But my friend Josh is such a precious person. I am so happy he found somone as amazing as he is. Their ceremony was so beautiful, both their sets of parents walked them down the isle. I am so happy for both of them to have such supportive families in their lives. I was watching his mom and dad, they were just beeming all night with such happiness about the wedding. When I had hardly any friends in high school, he was one of the only ones. We were both heavy and unpopular. Me way more than him, Josh has always had a personality that no one could resist He lost a lot of weight a few years before I did. He does crossfit 5 days a week now. He looks so good!
Day 113: Tim and Josh's Wedding. Josh is on the right.
Going a bit backwards in my photos
Day 112: Saying goodbye to work after 3 years, Friday was my actual official last day. It was kinda of a relief. I feel so angry all the time at that job. No one ever pulling the same amount of weight. Dealing with coworkers who are watching tv, texting, or on facebook the whole time at work. I guess I like structure too much and coworkers who care. Goodbye Twinkie (twinkie never watched tv, texted or was on facebook, he was a good coworker)
Day 111: Another recipe from my book. Curried Cauliflower & Chickpea Soup, with Cranberry Chutney and cilantro. Served with Baguette, I forgot to buy naan bread.
Other things that happened since my last blog. I went on my 3rd ride of silence this week. So touching as usual. Besides the drunk college kids yelling from apartment windows, too stupid to shut up. We ride down main street and it ends around campus escorted by cops. It's like a 2 mile ride all done in silence to honor those injured or killed in bike accidents each year.
