spark people reasons

Sunday, May 19, 2013

the reason i decided to use spark people is i was thinking about bariatric surgery and learned of this program. checking it ouit i found it to be quite helpful and decided to try it out. the results so far are 42 lbs. lost since march 11 2013. the things i like best about spark people are the friends and the ability to track nutrition, exercise, diadeties, weight, etc. its great. motivational tips come mostly from the friends and the new book. my goal for next week is to lose 2 more pounds and take it one week at a time. my favorite meal last week was the california chicken salad at ocharleys.

I can relate. This is my last stop before surgery. You are an inspiration to me, and I appreciate all the support you've been giving me. Good luck to you and to all of us.

You are wise to go the less invasive route. Surgery has a lots of risks and after effects that make it less desirable. SP has nothing but good options. You learn to eat in a reasonable manner for the long haul and it does not cost you any extra. You use exercise instead of surgery which is much more natural and more fulfilling. I have nothing but good to say about it!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

So glad you are managing to lose weight without the surgery. I have been tempted but then I tell myself that it requires a lot of self discipline so why not just do it now without the life threatening procedure.

Keep up the good work friend.
