I look forward each morning to get out for a walk, especially when the weather is nice. It's been foggy here in the Ozarks for the past few days. I usually like to get out a little past 6 a.m. That's the time of the week I will normally see their business as usual continue, but that doesn't bother me. I just enjoy being out there....walking with my dogs, hearing the birds chirp, the cows moo, and the such. It's an amazing site to see and I'm so thankful that the Lord allows me to behold such beauty. Yesterday my husband mowed the lawn I love the smell of fresh mowed grass. There are still lots of grass that our mower can't handle, so we turn the horses loose on that. It's grown so high that it's nearly hard to see anything. I don't know what's lurking in those tall weeds
so I also have to keep my eyes and ears opened. We deal with so many ticks here (the worst part about my walks) so I always hit the shower right after I walk. All in all though, I enjoy my morning walks. Being out in God's nature gives me that more incentive to get my exercise in. While I am doing P90X the walks helps to keep my bones and joints stronger. I try to at least aim for 5 days a week outside. If you need motivation to get out there and walk, just look around. There's always some beauty in God's nature. Take advantage of it!
