A little down today

I've been back on SP for a little over two weeks now. Actually have done pretty good. Have gotten atleast my 8 cups of water in every day. And I have stayed within calories goals most days. As mentioned recently I got a new camera so have been out with that lots. My granddaughter is here lots so we go out for walks and take pics. I use my camera , she uses my phone.

This morning I was looking through the pictures she has taken with my phone and found the one above. Ok well I sure do not look happy in it. LOL Beyond that though, the weight I have put on is very upsetting to me. The angle does not help matters, granddaguther is 4 so shooting pic from below sure shows my many chins. :( Just was a huge slap in the face for me!

I really am trying to stay positive. I am after all making an effort to recreate a healthy life style. So why am I letting this pic get to me so badly this moring?

    I understand how you are feeling. I've had the same reaction to photos of me (a recent one comes to mind..lol). So instead of focusing on the bad pic I put a great pic of me on my computer as my screen saver to remind me of where I can and will be!

    You are just started out, consider this your "before" picture. You will be amazed at the progress you make in a short period of time. Hang in there and keep up with your positive changes!

Put the picture away...close your eyes and picture what you will look like in another couple of months. See that smile?
