SparkSolutions and other questions

Saturday, May 18, 2013

Reminder: Tomorrow is a rest day from your “Fitness That Fits”. Take that time to post a review to your SparkPeople blog about your progress so far and you’ll get 100 SparkPoints!*

Well obviously SparkPeople doesn't have access to a calendar of spiritual events, because this weekend is a Double Sabbath, so I have two rest days - Today is the weekly Seventh Day (Sabbath) rest. Tomorrow (Sunday) is a High Holy Day - Pentecost or Feast of Weeks.

Details: Post a blog on your SparkPage answering these questions:

• What made you decide to try The Spark Solution Program?

I honestly was not planning to because I understood videos were not captioned. I wanted the book and bought it on pre-order from Amazon because it would be captioned. But May is a horribly busy month for me anyway, and it's worst than usual this year. So I discovered that transcripts were available now for (most of) the videos, and thought I'd give SparkCoach a try, since it was free with the book purchase.

Oh wait, they are asking about SparkSolutions (the book). Hmmm I'm a fine mess! So obvious I need both programs.

• Have you seen or felt any results in this first week?

Mostly in giving me some structure to hang onto, since all this emotional trauma has been reopened recently. It's allowed me to not feel so horridly guilty if I could only manage a 10 minute walk most days.

• What do you like the most about the program?

That it exists.

• What was your favorite meal from this week?

The substitutions I made because I didn't throw every thing away and buy new food for the book lists. I'm so numb, I don't remember many meals. Yogurt. Spinach salad.

• Which Insider Tip motivated you the most this week?

Hmmm in the book? Or in the SparkCoach thing? No clue. I don't recall reading an insider tip.

• What is your goal is for next week?

To just sit and finish READING this book, and to survive without freaking out.

• Include a link to the book’s website:

Okay, I'm easy. Here is a link to the book's website:

High fives for answering all those questions despite how busy things are! I'm so sorry you're going through a rough time, but hey, ten minutes of walking is great! Certainly better than no walking at all, which is what most people manage. I'm glad you're at least able to fit a little something in like that. Hang in there!

The first step of anything new can be confusing sometimes.... Sometimes I write like that somewhat confused or don't remember certain things.... emoticon

This I KNOW when i stay with a program after a while studying it ( I take info bits and pices and build from there ( reading book or Internet to fill in the blanks---- otherwise my head would be spinning with endless details -UGH!!)

I think you did really well! I'm doing the Spark Coach program and am in, I think, my 5th week with it.
I pre-ordered the Spark Solution too and received my book and got on their team. However, my book arrived after they started their challenge and since reading what the challenge is all about, I'm not sure I could go along/follow with everyone anyway. I think I'll just read the book first and take it from there.
All the best to you my friend!

Bless your heart! May is busy for me too. Stress does take a lot out of progress. I understand and empathize with you completely.
