It got here - my summer vacation!
It took me longer to do my last of the semester paperwork than I wanted, but I am certain that it was done to my satisfaction. Now it is a break of about 12 weeks until the fall semester begins.
I woke early and got started on my "15 minutes of organization" goal after a couple of cups of coffee - funny how organizing one thing leads to something else. I think I probably ended up with an hour or more of organizing, and I also have a "15 Minutes of Organization" list for the upcoming days. So I guess you could say I have now organized my organizing.
DH and I have jointly agreed [after coming to the conclusion separately] that we want to spend the next week and a half just working on little projects before traveling for DS's wedding. He is working on lawn projects; I help him occasionally, but am working on different projects inside, including the organization project.
I also had the amount of time exercising that is more in line with what I need to do to get back down to my goal weight. I have been exercising almost every day, but it really was only enough to get my endorphins going to get me through those last days of the semester and it only helped me to maintain my weight where it was. I am seriously considering visiting a local Zumba class on Monday morning as well - I might as well start my week right! Now THAT would burn some calories!
I have also begun to explore new recipes; that is something that I enjoy. I made a lowered calorie potato salad for our crockpot country style ribs this afternoon. That was quite fun to try, and I do hope everyone enjoys them as much as I enjoyed trying the two new recipes.
