Happy day!

Saturday, May 18, 2013

I picked up my new glasses at Walmart today. First off they look great! Second, they work great! I can see so well and clearly. After a week of my old glasses I am so content with these new glasses. They are light transition, so when I went on my sunny walk today they were perfect. They helped protect my eyes and my neighborhood looked beautiful. I remember an awesome cat in the window. He looked at me and I looked at him and we both enjoyed the moment!

Oh yeah. day 7 diet pepsi free, woohoo!

Glad to hear the emoticon are working out well.

My emoticon also darken in bright light. The only bad part is when in the sunshine I can't read the display on my mp3 to change playlists or to view the cell phone incoming call. I usually have to bring along my reading glasses if I'm on a long distance walk. But I do enjoy them otherwise.

Terrific! Steve, did you get the Transitions brand lenses. I always wanted to try those. I had some years and years ago but it took literally 1/2 hour to change from light to dark and dark to light. Have a great day! Be Blessed! Bob.

emoticon I really happy for you. I know what crappy glasses can be like.
A friend took me out last night and I really tried hard to have a nice time. I did but, not as well as I would have liked. This morning I forced myself to go and wash clothes. Now I'm done and I'm glad I did it. I hope that you have a great weekend.

I love getting new glasses. It's nice to have a change. I have the transition lenses too and they are great! So glad to hear how happy you are with them. Congrats on the 7th pop free day. I gave up my diet cokes about a month ago. It's hard giving them up but you are doing great. emoticon emoticon

Glad your glasses are working so well. Your week without Pepsi is a BIG accomplishment. When I gave up my Cokes, I missed them until I would have the occasional one, and discover they didn't TASTE good any more. I was actually glad they didn't because I no longer even wanted them.
