Speaking of Sabotages...

Friday, May 17, 2013

As you know my last blog included venting about my work-related issue on Wednesday.
Yesterday, Sparkpeople had technical issues (Thursday).
Piling. It. On...

Can you say, "Really?"

When it rains,it pours. emoticon Well, ya girl didn't have an umbrella to shield herself evidentially.

So the new boss came to me instead.

Who knows. He seemed genuinely concerned and said he didn't mean to upset me.
I wanted to say, "Dang! Did one of my spark friends rat me out about my blog?"

Now I know y'all got my back, right???
No snitching on me, folks!

So I explained how I organized the end of year celebration for the 7th graders for years.
I have no problem with someone else doing that nevertheless, but I was the organizer who gave teachers options about the order, etc. I also explained how I included awarding parents and volunteers (which other teams didn't do-by the way). He smiled and felt better knowing the truth. Of course I told him to feel free to ask other teachers on our team.

Yes. I could tell he was relieved. I read people very well. I guess he does too. emoticon

As far as the tech issues Sparkpeople has experienced, my 400+ day login streak has been sabotaged. Oh well.

Such is life!

Glad everything worked out and you had the chance to clear the air with your new boss.

The fix that SP put up seems to have worked. I had already logged in that day, but DH did not and he was bummed about his streak, but the link fixes it and gives you the log in points.

Enjoy the weekend, now that those things are off your mind!

BTW, I was sort of lost that night too, without being able to check my remaining calories to choose what to have for dinner, but I survived, LOL!

Glad things worked out with your absolutely deserve credit for your hard work. I hope the fix they have in place will salvage your log-in streak. I just broke a
109 day log-in streak a few weeks back (my own fault), so I know how devastating that is....but expecially when it is not your fault. Have a great weekend.

Hope your week next week goes better than this one - I didn't rat you out - I was dealing with my own week from *(^*^ - and Thursday's down time upset me momentarily and I simply decided maybe SLEEP was a better option than an explosion so I just went to bed.

No, your login shouldn't be destroyed. Check out this article. There's a link to a fix that SP figured out, so you could salvage your points for that day. See if it helps.
