"Getting off track and Auto-Correcting" Wisdom

Friday, May 17, 2013

This was posted on facebook by Lauren (AKA "sparkgirl32"). I asked her if it was OK if I post it to Spark and she said sure. I thought it was such a good reminder that I wanted to be able to refer back to it when I have a "bad day":

It isn't getting "off track" that really keeps us from losing's what we do while we're waiting to get back on track that does all the damage! Quit telling yourself you're going to start over tomorrow, Monday, or the first of the month...try auto-correcting at your very next meal. I promise, you'll be amazed by your results :)

It can make all the difference to make up your mind for now rather than later. That's what puts us in bad situations in the first place!

I need to get better at this. It always seems that when I get off track, I can't get back on until I hit the gym for a good lift. Becomes problematic and turns into multi day binges at times...

Every meal or time to exercise is a new chance to do it right

Yes, The start all over at another time or day is not being in the right mindset. If you blow lunch, recover at dinner. This is great and so true.
