Crazy, mixed up kind of week

Friday, May 17, 2013

Work has been hectic, but that's nothing new. I am constantly surprised by the company I work for, and not always in a good way. It is what it is, however.

I did not get to the gym at all this week. I tweaked my sciatic nerve so badly on Sunday from being startled awake by a dream that I could barely walk. I ended up home on Tuesday as a result. It's better now, but not great. One day at a time.

This weekend I am taking Plex on a date. My loving man has been extremely stressed out at work, which is causing his IBS to flare up. He needs some relaxation, and since he's not from around here I figured I'd show him something he hasn't seen yet. It will be fun, outdoors and involve walking. On Sunday we have a baby christening to attend. Since neither of us are Catholic, we'll be in the church hall during the service watching over crockpots and such. Every time we've attended a Catholic mass, we get the evil eye for not participating in the communion. It makes it uncomfortable for us. We're pagan, and believe in a treat each other as you would want to be treated path. Unfortunately, there are some people who can't wrap their head around our spiritual path. Again, it is what it is. We are happy with our path, and that's what matters to us.

Tonight will be quiet at home time, and I think an early bedtime.

Enjoy all the time together you can. And hate how some can be so critical of your beliefs. emoticon

I hope you will both be feeling better soon. Sounds like you have some good plans for the weekend. And you got a great attitude, I like that same path as you as well.

I'm sorry to hear you were hurt, but glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Treat each other as you'd want to be treated - Bravo - the world would be a much better place if everyone lived by that. Everyone has the right to their beliefs and no one should judge or be judged.

Enjoy your outing this weekend - I hope it helps Plex!

I'm a live and let live person and hate it when others get mad because I don't do what they want me to. What makes them better than me and right as opposed to me being wrong??
I respect your right to live your life your way.

I know that nerve pain is the pits! I hope your ok. Hugs!

Glad you and Plex will get some time to relax this weekend. We ALL need that for sure. Enjoy!

Frankly, I think that's wonderful that you will watch the crockpots during the christening. It bothers me when people are judgmentl You don't know a person till you know 'em! But whatever. I think that's a really nice thing you and Plex are doing.

HUGS and hope your sciatica dials down. So uncomfortable!
