BLC Weeks 5 thru 9

I've had a difficult time the last few weeks, as many people have mentioned sometimes life just gets in the way. My husband was laid off work, found another job only to have that company have massive lay offs and be laid off again. He has a couple of jobs in the wings and should be back at work in the next week or two. ( he operates that massive equipment they show you on the discovery channel...lol) To delay any possible financial issues, fortunately we're not there yet, I've been taking pretty much every shift I'm offered at work, and that is lot as we are horrendously short staffed. The combination of having my hubby home full time and working crazy hours has really cut into my computer time.
On the exercise front though things have been going exceptionally well.
I love to hike so I've been dragging Hubby with me and we are hiking 2 to 3 hours a day, before work, and I'm pretty sure I have the worlds happiest dogs.
My Hubby loves to golf and after 3 summers together he finally has the time to teach me to play, so we've managed to get to the driving range for a couple of lessons and then we drove over an hour to find a little par 3 golf course for my first game, and according to my hubby who has golfed on many many many courses it was the hardest par 3 he has EVER seen,
but we had a blast!
On the diet and tracking front I've been so so I seem to have come to a standstill in the weight loss department but I am losing inches and I'm thinking with the amount of exercise I'm doing I need to tweak my diet a little I'm either picking at food a little more than I think or I'm not eating enough so I must be more diligent with my tracking everything that crosses my lips.
Committing to the challenges is pretty hit and miss
Lose a pound a week ...um nope, however the first few weeks were so successful that I did reach my BLC goal of 12.4 pounds and I haven't had a week that I gained so I'm happy about that.

All in all I'm pretty pleased with my progress in the BLC Spring and am looking to sizzle off some more pounds this summer.
