my first biog

I am not a blogger, but as part of my commitment to completing my spark people challenge will try. I have started a little over a month ago and and off to a fine start have lost 17 lbs as of today. I have lost a large amount of weight 3 times in my life(over 100 lbs). Somehow I cannot change my habits enough to make the change permanent and I gain the weight back. I am getting older and now I am more concerned for my health. I need to have a surgery in the near future and am trying to get off some of this weight beforehand.
I am really trying to immerse my self into the Spark community and live a healthy life style.

    You are approaching this in the right way then! Remember we are all human and our progress is not marked by numbers but how we feel. The feeling of accomplishment when we complete a workout, make a new meal and love ourselves no matter what. We all need to remind ourselves to not stress over anything but to embrace life and all that6 it has to offer. emoticon
