I have managed to go 5 days without bread. Yay me. I was soooo tempted to get a finger bun when doing the shopping tonight, to the point where I drifted very very slowly past the bakery window but was determined not to give in. I have taken over doing the shopping. Two reasons, the boys were buying too much junk and I wanted to challenge myself. I haven't yet managed to go down the lolly isle, at the moment that's a step too far however, I can go up and down the biscuit isle( cookies for the Americans out there lol) to pick out a packet for VMA and to grab one lot that are on sale for the males of this house.
I have been spending a good ten minutes going through the muesli bars. Actually that is where I have spent the most time. Looking at all the nutritional values of each of the different brands and flavours. I have it now narrowed down to one brand form Aldi's and one from Coles. Safeway/Woolworths have ones that look the same but the nutritional value is way out of whack.
When I got delayed at work, my plans to train tonight, didn't fall by the way side more got condensed. I only did 1/2 an hour instead of the usual hour. I'm not stressed about it either. I've done and hour for the day (1/2 an hour in the morning and 1/2 tonight). I might fall short of what the trackers changed to when I changed how much time wise I was working out but I'm happy with that. I'll do my usual 90 - 100 minutes tomorrow.
This is about long term lifestyle sustainable changes. Not going gang busters and then quitting because of set backs or injuries.
