So...... I am having a dinner and friends over and I am going to surprise them with an all Paleo dinner! well..... this should be interesting~~~ also I am trying out some new ideas for recipes....
Here is my menu for Saturday night:
Appetizer: Vegetable Crudites with Newman's Olive Oil Dressing
Salad: Farm Fresh Organic Greens with Roma Tomato and Zero Carb Dressing
Entree: Marinated Fresh Herb Roasted Chicken
Side 1 : Cauliflower Bake with Sliced Almonds
Side 2: Stir Fried Farm Fresh Veggies
Dessert: Fresh Fruit Salad with Macadamia Nut Topping
Well......... how does that sound???? It sounds DELISH to me, but 2 of the guys are diabetic like me and one is not and they all pretty much eat anything, this should be interesting. I am hoping the cauliflower bake will confuse them to think they are getting some 'white' food. But without bread or sugary dessert I may have a fiasco on my hands.
Do I care? Not really. I am cooking for myself and since we take turns every month visiting each others homes for dinner and guitar jam, they can take what they get I suppose!!!
No one ever accused me of being that co-dependent anyway.
I need to be able to have dinner parties that do not upset me and this is what I am going to do for Saturday. Luckily my hubby will help me prep some things tomorrow so I can save the fresh stir fry til last, ohhhhhhh its going to be goooooooooood!
