Today is the big day that I start to plan my meals. I have never really planned my meals before, just tracked my grams and changed meal to meal to meet my ranges. However, since protein is a challenge, I have to make sure I have my back-ups on hand and have substitutes in meals.
Keeping the carbs low is a challenge, but I am finally getting my fat grams under control and my calorie ranges are O.K. They could be a little lower.
I still haven't had coffee or more added salt in my food. I never realized how good food tastes without added salt. I am slowly de-pooching and my back is hurting less. I think the two were connected, though I definitely gained more weight round the middle. I'll take that as more of a challenge to do core work.
Today, I am going to gym maybe for an hour and half, and this afternoon, I am chasing my kid around the park. I can't wait to run after him.
