# Dr. Oz Calorie Calculator

Anyone else see this episode? I forget the guy's name but he said in order to determine the amount of daily calories you should be eating you multiply the weight you WANT to be by 12. For instance, I want to weigh 140 so my calorie intake is 140 x 12 = 1680. Pretty easy calculation but does this number sill work when I weigh 150? Seems like a lot of calories to take in at 150.

Also, I am having trouble staying within my calorie intake at night. I get hungry and several times I wake up in the middle of the night with hunger pains. I end up eating a protein bar but then I calculate it for my breakfast and that seems to start a vicious cycle. Blah.

I have a few of Dr. Oz's books. He is pretty good! That calculation is right on with our calorie ranges here on SP!
I agree with ARMYMOMMAOF2! If I eat more calories for breakfast and lunch, I don't get as hungry later!

You can do this. I notice that if my calorie intake is higher in the morning and at dinner time I don't mindlessly eat. GL
