Water Bliss

Thursday, May 16, 2013

One of the foundations of our SP journey is drinking eight 8 oz glasses of water each day. After a year as a Sparkie, I can say that my body let's me know that it is not willing to give up this daily hydration. I get thirsty and I now get thirsty especially for good old H2O!

I've registered for the BLC22 (Biggest Loser Challenge round 22). Guess what the first pre-round challenge was. WATER WATER Wednesday! Yep, start the day with a glass of water and get in your eight by the end of the day. WooHoo! Think it was by accident that the wise leaders of BLC chose this as our first challenge? Nope! Foundation, people, foundation!!!

So if you have any hesitation or resistance to treating your body to WATER, perhaps the following will inspire you to look at that refreshing and essential liquid in a new light. I received this in my daily Bliss Trip email yesterday:

"You are surrounded by beautiful clean blue water...
As far as you can see, the sparkling liquid goes on and on. Imagine this clean water as peace, peace that you can drink and bathe in and share. Imagine a crystal pitcher of this luminous liquid, a never-ending reservoir. You can carry it through your neighborhood and share it with whomever you meet. You can give glasses full to children, to your friends, to the elderly. Let the endless stream spill forth as you share harmony and serenity with everyone you encounter..."

Water as peace, ah. I'll raise my water glass to that! I'll drink my water to that! Won't you do the same? And when was the last time that the first thing you offered a visitor to your home or office was a refreshing glass of water? Let's spread the peace of water, peace of mind, peace of body. Let's allow the Spark-ling water flow!

clean water is something too many people take for granted! I'm grateful...
lots of my water is brewed with tea - I always boil my water before putting a container into the refrigerator. emoticon

LOL! Here in Israel, water is one if the first things offered....

I just got back from vacation. I noticed that I fell into "Better not drink too much--don't know where the next bathroom will be" mode. I am now dilligently rehydrating!!

Water is great! Whether drinking it or just enjoying a day on the water, I love it. One of the most relaxing things is to watch waves roll into shore or to paddle a canoe across a still lake at sunrise or sunset. Water brings peace and health. We should take the time to enjoy it.
