Well I am at home with a cold, and trying hard to stay on track again!

Talk about yo yoing! Last week I managed to row 5kms on the rowing machine 3 times. Did lots of stretching.

Then I had a conference to go to in the city. Not a lot of exercising going on except I did do the stairs rather than the escalator. Walked a lot to and from the train station.

Then all the chocolate from Mother's day last Sunday. emoticon finished it last night. So now back on the straight and narrow and eating healthy food.

Exercise is off until this cold gets better. So as the saying goes 1 step forward 2 steps back or 2 steps forward and 1 step back. emoticon

How did you all go with the "extras" on Mother's day?

Hope you all had a great day. We had a full on day with my 89 year old MIL, my SIL and other family members. Making the most of the time we have with the people who are still with us now. My first Mother's day with my own mother no longer with us. emoticon

    So very sorry not having your Mum for Mother's day.

No chocolates here, my Sparking has rubbed off on my Mum, we went on a four hour hike on the hottest day we have had in seven months!!! Imagine getting temps hovering around freezing, then all of sudden shooting up to 82 F (28C)!! We took good advantage of the break in the cold! Just started to green up finally the last few days, spring is here to stay at last!
Hope you recover quickly! I am blessed I never catch colds.

    Glad to hear that you are recovering from your cold.
I didn't have chocolates as I told my son not to buy
me any.
He took me out to breakfast down by the Broadwater
and cooked a cauliflower crust pizza for dinner.
I have started going to my circuit classes and I find I
have to push myself to go fo a walk these days.
