I haven't been able to really blog much in the past many days due to lack of time. It's been pretty busy with Murphy's birth and a lot of running around. Jetta & I have had good adventures though! Once when we went way back to the bike trail in Brown Co. State Park, we were trucking along when she jumped way to the side....I knew something was there.....the biggest black snake I've ever seen. He was poised to strike, lunging forward. He was SO big that we couldn't walk around him. That was the end of that.....we did an about face and hiked out of there. I had totally forgotten about the snake threat in the woods. A black snake is one thing, but the copperheads are quite another. I really AM afraid of copperheads. They can kill you or your dog. We'll have to really be careful and watch for them constantly - but they're not easy to see - they blend in so well with the ground, leaves and terrain. Also hope we don't ever come across a rattler either. I've never seen one, but know they're there, but not in the numbers of the copperheads.
School is winding down fast. Only 7 more working days left. Last day of school is May 29th. It'll be over before we know it.
Today's mileage: 9.70 miles;
ST: core, upper body
A big thanks for stopping by today if you had time. Hope your Wednesday was great!!
