I made the decision that I am going to better my health and lose all of this weight. I started at 285 and made it down to 261 with just exercise and slight changes in my diet. I am now making a bigger step toward following the sparkpeople meal plans more and not adding in "custom foods" I have only been walking and swimming for exercise, I have a bad back and some things are very painful for me to do. I have noticed though that walking actually seems to ease my back pain as long as I do not overdo it. I have made it from barely being able to walk across the street to doing 1.5-2 miles per day, It's a slow start but I am super excited with the days I can walk 2 miles. 6 months ago I would have probably killed over just walking 1 mile much less 2! I have set my next goal for 225 and my major goal is to get to somewhere between 160-180lbs and would love to get down to being in a single digit pants size!! I am going to start doing frequent blogs, I haven't decided yet if I am going to do them weekly or monthly or just as I progress yet but I will definitely be keeping updates on a regular basis.
