I let my alarm slip by this morning, but I made a solid date with myself to do the long run on the treadmill that was next in my 10K training queue... 6.24 miles in 82 minutes.
I finished the whole 6.24 miles as programmed, no changes. Warm up and cool down were only .24 miles and then I did an easy jog of 6 miles split (mostly) into 0.4 mile segments, 4.9 mph @ 1% alternating with 4.6 mph @ 3%. I got into it, it was an easy pace, but a long run for me.... I thought I might have to take a break, but once I reached 4 miles, I knew I could finish even though I thought my legs were going to fall off.
I really am training for that
before the end of the year.
