No voice!

I have lost my voice and my energy. emoticon I am very tired so no running! Last night we had the girls' soccer banquet and it was going then. It looks like I'll be taking at least a three day break from running.

My oldest scolded me saying I was working out too much and not eating enough. I think I'm just wore out from work, the kids' events, getting the house and yard ready for a graduation party, working out, and just doing the daily chores.

So I'm off to bed. I'm hoping to run on Friday. We'll see.....

    Thanks for all the well wishes. I usually get this "crud" at least once a year and usually around parent teacher conferences. This year it came a little later. It could be allergies, but I've never been "diagnosed." I always struck it up to being too busy, not getting enough sleep and this time, exercising a lot! I'll have to keep allergies in mind, though. Thanks friends!

    There's nothing wrong with taking a rest, but if you've really lost your voice (laryngitis) I agree with Konrad695's allergy suggestion. When I run outside in the spring, the heavy pollen takes a toll on me and my voice is the first to go.

    Take care of yourself, rest and come back stronger.

    I can say that once upon a time I exercised myself into the ER. My body crashed to a BP of 72 over 38. My heart was also skipping and I had to where a monitor. It went off one night when my heart stopped. I only missed about 8 seconds before it woke me up. So, if you've exercised to this point, please take a breather.

    Now if your oldest and I are wrong and it's allergies or something, then get back at it and power on my friend. One thing I used to help power me up is Cytomax. At least until I broke myself again.

    Either way. I hope you recover quickly and have a nice party. Best of luck to you.
